Zoho Books

I have used quite a few accounting software in my time as an accountant and I can say that Zoho books is one of the best I have used in terms of user- friendliness.

I can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the design to ensure that it isn’t messy and confusing for the user. It also has all the features that you need in an accounting software.

The best part is that you can get started for FREE!

A lot of accounting software claim to have a free package but the package is very limited and is almost useless, But Zoho’s free package is more that enough to meet the needs of a small business.

My only criticism for it would be that may come off as a bit complex for anyone who knows nothing about accounting but I know there are multiple tutorial video on YouTube to help understand the basics.

Kippa

Kippa is one of the top Fintech companies in Nigeria today that is make a lot of waves. They have recently expanded their product offering into the banking sector, thereby providing business accounts and POS terminals.

Although there is a waiting list for some of there products but the key product which is bookkeeping is completely free and functional.

This App is very simple. If you are someone who does not know much about accounting and accounting terms, this app is for you.

Anyone can use it. It provides the basic features that you need and nothing more.

My only critism for this app is that is too simple, if you what something with more details. As an accountant, it was too simple for me.
